Som led i videreudvikling af databrønden, har vi nu udarbejdet en ny datamodel for DanBib og bibliotek.dk. Det måske mest interessante ved datamodellen er, at den også kan håndtere bibliotekskataloger og ikke mindst bane vej for nye fællesskaber blandt forskningsbiblioteker på områder som accession og katalogisering!
Netop disse emner har vi endevendt i SACS under forskellige vinkler som automatisk katalogberigelse, bedre materialeforsyning, udvidet samarbejde om indkøb og katalogisering, direkte katalogisering til DanBib etc. jf. ældre indlæg på denne blog.
Den nuværende datamodel for DanBib har været én af forhindringerne for at komme i gang, en anden forhindring har været bibliotekernes manglende praktiske samarbejde på tværs af institutionsgrænserne.
Nu er den første forhindring ryddet af vejen. Den nye datamodel udnytter de muligheder, der ligger i brøndteknologien, bl.a. indeholder brønden datatyper som fx dokumenter, bibliografiske poster, beholdningsdata og lokaliseringsdata samt relationer

I’m new to building websites and I was wanting to know if having your site title relevant to your content really that crucial? I notice your title, “Ny fleksibel datamodel ” does appear to be spot on with what your website is about yet, I prefer to keep my title less content descriptive and based more around site branding. I do not know if it’s just me or if everybody else experiencing problems with your website. It appears as if some of the written text in your posts are running off the screen.
